defte.co is an international appointment platform used by salon owners worldwide — from Turkey to Russia, Georgia to Germany. This complete guide walks through every tab on the defte.co/dashboard/settings page to help you configure your salon from top to bottom.
How to Access Settings
Click Settings in the left menu of your dashboard, or go directly to defte.co/dashboard/settings. The Settings page is divided into multiple tabs, each covering a separate configuration area.
Tab 1: Business Information
Set all the core details about your salon that will appear publicly:
- Salon name: Displayed on the booking page, in notifications, and in the SEO title.
- Description: The introduction text customers see. Reflect your services and salon personality.
- Phone number: For customers to reach you directly.
- Email address: System emails are sent here. Also used as the notification address.
- Address and location: Country, city, and address. Also used for Google Maps integration.
- Salon URL (slug): defte.co/your-slug — your salon's unique link.
- Upload logo: Determines the salon image shown on the booking page and QR code.
Country selection: The address field supports worldwide country + city selection. Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Germany, UAE, and all other countries are supported.
Tab 2: Working Hours
Define which days and times customers can book appointments:
- Open/closed toggle for each day of the week
- Opening and closing time per day
- Break times (lunch etc.) can be defined
- Special closed days (public holidays, vacations) can be added
Customers cannot book outside working hours; only available slots appear on the booking screen.
Tab 3: Notification Settings
🔔 Push Notifications
Configure whether you want push notifications for new appointments, cancellations, and reminders. Grant browser/app permission via the "Enable Notifications" button.
📧 Email Notifications
Toggle email notifications on or off. When the monthly email limit is reached, this toggle locks automatically (unlock by upgrading to Pro).
⏰ Reminder Timing
Customer reminders are automatically sent 1 hour and 30 minutes before each appointment. No additional configuration needed.
Tab 4: Appearance (Theme)
Choose the visual theme for your panel. Three options are available:
☀️ Light Theme
White and stone tones (#fafaf9). Ideal for daytime use, bright offices, and reception desks. The amber accent colour is most vivid in this mode.
🌙 Dark Theme
Deep grey and anthracite tones (#0c0a09). Reduces eye strain in low light. Saves battery on OLED screens.
⚙️ System Theme
Follows the operating system preference (day/night mode) automatically. When your phone or computer switches to dark mode, the panel switches too.
Theme changes apply instantly — no save button required. Your preference is remembered on the same device for future logins.
Tab 5: Account Security
- Change password: Update your current password.
- Change email: Update your login and notification email (a confirmation email is sent).
- Active sessions: List of logged-in devices; you can terminate a specific session.
- Delete account: Submit a request to permanently delete all salon data.
2FA (Two-Factor Authentication): 2FA is enabled by default on defte.co — no additional setting is required. Each login is verified with a one-time code sent to your email.
Tab 6: Language Settings
defte.co supports three languages:
- Turkish (Türkçe) — Default language
- English — For international users
- Russian (Русский) — For users in Russia, Georgia, and CIS countries
A language change updates the interface instantly. Customer notification language is also adjusted based on this selection.
Tab 7: QR Code
Download your salon's booking link as a QR code and add it to printed materials (business cards, posters, menus). Customers scan the code with their phone camera to instantly reach your booking page.
Tab 8: Plan & Upgrade
View your current plan and feature limits. Switch between Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans:
- Free: 20 services, 5 staff, 200 emails/month
- Pro: Unlimited services and staff, 2,000 emails/month, premium theme
- Enterprise: Everything unlimited, 10,000 emails/month, AI features
